How much does an architect cost in Ireland?
Architect fees vary depending on the size and complexity of a project, the level of service required and the stage at which an architect becomes involved. A straightforward planning application for a house extension will involve a very different scope of work to the full architectural design and delivery of a new home or commercial development.
At Studio B, our architectural fees are tailored to the requirements of each project. We aim to provide a clear scope of services and fee proposal from the outset, allowing clients to understand both the architectural services required and the likely professional costs involved.

Initial Consultation:

An initial 1 hour consultation at the property in question where you get an hour of our time to answer any questions and cover any ideas you might have

Outline of potential timelines for work, design, planning and construction queries as well as the process from initial sketch design to completion will be provided.

Paradoxically, if we leave you with more questions and more ideas its been a successful hour
€225.00 * incl VAT (outside of business hours or outside of Dublin)
€185.00 * incl VAT (during business hours and within Dublin)
*both fees deductible from further fees should clients wish to proceed with Studio B
Feasibility Study:

For small to mid range sized projects to assess the suitability of viability of a proposal.

Can be used as part of a pre planning consultation with the local authority

Useful for new build residential projects, mid range commercial/retail/cultural projects

Provided will be drawings of the proposed scheme, 3d visuals and schedules of accommodation

Domestic Extension Design Package:

For domestic extensions under 40m2 and exempt from planning permission

Custom extension tailored to your property - Internal reconfiguration to existing included if required.

Included in package will be survey of existing dwelling and production of existing drawings. Proposed design Layout Options and 3D visuals of proposals
